Challenges
The platform’s purpose spans multiple roles: a streaming service, a media outlet, an event space, and a marketplace. The branding had to communicate this breadth without becoming crowded or visually overwhelming. The challenge was to build a system that could hold diverse content while remaining distinct, recognisable, and scalable.
Output
The MYOMU identity was developed through reduction and clarity. Instead of relying on music clichés, the design focuses on modular structure and rhythm-inspired geometry. The wordmark was constructed to read cleanly at multiple sizes, supported by a monochrome palette that prioritises usability across editorial and interface applications.
Impact
The final identity positions MYOMU as a calm and dependable space within a fast-moving music landscape. It provides a foundation for a platform built on access, fairness, and discovery, supporting an ecosystem where artists and audiences can meet with clarity and intention.
An advertising campaign for MYOMU (Malaysia's One Stop Music Hub). Roaring the tagline "Let Your Scene Be Heard", this advertising campaign is an all out call for urban city kids to support their respective city's independent music scene all over the country. This is by including familiar faces of their local scene, and sparking the patriotic spirit inside of them. This in turn will also introduce them to MYOMU and all it's range of services.

Reflection
The process highlighted how a music platform’s brand must function as a frame rather than a focal point. By removing decorative elements and focusing on structure, the identity supports discovery without directing it. The project reinforced the value of adaptable systems—brands that can grow, shift, and absorb new content while remaining understated and intentional.
