Concept
The project explored different sides of Kugiran A. Sazali’s identity through live visuals. The intro sets a reflective tone with a lo-fi montage of past shows, while six loops range from drifting logos and neon-lit designs to 3D geometric motion and playful typographic animations. The outro revisits the first loop, following a bird across the scene as credits float into the sunset.
Visuals
Six high-resolution loops were created, each with its own character, calm floating scenes, energetic geometric motion, and neon-lit logo sequences. The loops were crafted to flow with the music, complementing the performance while highlighting the band’s evolving identity.
Experience
The visuals enriched the performance, adding energy, texture, and variety without overshadowing the music. Each loop offered a unique visual expression, from calm floating logos and 3D geometric motion to neon-lit designs and playful typographic animations, creating a dynamic and memorable experience for the audience.
Reflection
This project demonstrates how live visuals can complement music, storytelling, and performance identity. The combination of nostalgia, motion, and design experimentation allowed the visuals to engage the audience while remaining cohesive with the band’s style.
